電子決済等代行業者との連携・協働に係る方針

当行は、銀行法施行規則（昭和57年大蔵省令第10号）第13条の6の12第1項に基づき、電子決済等代行業者との連携・協働に係る方針を次のとおり公表します。なお、本方針は、当行の判断により予告なく変更されることがあります。

Bank of America, N.A. Tokyo Branch (“Bank”) hereby publishes the following Policy for Cooperation and Collaboration with Electronic Settlement Service Agent (“ESA”) in accordance with Article 13-6-12, Paragraph 1 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Banking Act (Ordinance of the Ministry of Finance No. 10 of 1982).  The Bank may amend this policy at its discretion without a prior notice.

1. 基本方針

法人のお客さまのニーズに対応する利便性の高いソリューションをご提供することを目的として、電子決済等代行業者との連携・協働及びそのための体制整備を行います。

1. Basic Policy

We coordinate and collaborate with ESAs and establish internal systems therefore for the purpose of providing the solution that are highly useful and satisfies the needs of the Bank’s corporate clients.

 

2. オープンAPIへの対応

オープンAPI（Application Programming Interface）（注）による電子決済等代行業者の接続につきましては、かかる接続により、当行の内部ポリシーに整合し、法人のお客様のニーズにも対応する利便性の高いソリューションを安全に提供できるか否かについて検討を行っているところであるため、現時点ではかかる接続には対応しておりません。

（注）一般に、銀行が、銀行の外部のFinTech事業者等にシステム接続方式であるAPIを提供し、銀行システムの機能を利用できるようにすることをいいます。

2. Open API

At this stage, the Bank does not accept connection from ESAs by way of open API (Application Programming Interface)* because it is still under consideration whether or not the Bank is able to ensure the safe provision of a connectivity solution through such a connection which is in-line with the Bank’s internal policies and that is considered highly useful and satisfies the needs of the Bank’s corporate clients.

* “Open API” generally means a bank enabling external service providers such as FinTech companies to use functions of the bank’s system by way of providing API as a connection method.
